Saturday, Sunny
Today was such an exciting day! The summer vacation has just started, and I already feel like it’s going to be full of fun and learning. After breakfast, my family decided to go to the park for a morning walk. It was so refreshing to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful weather. There were so many people at the park—some were jogging, some were playing frisbee, and others were simply sitting under the shade of big trees, reading books or chatting with friends.
After coming back home, I spent some time practicing English. I opened my favorite English storybook and read a few pages aloud. It’s not always easy, but I try to pronounce every word clearly. My mom says that listening to native speakers on YouTube helps too, so I’ve been watching short videos where people talk about their daily lives. It’s amazing how much I can learn from just listening carefully.
Later in the afternoon, I helped my little brother with his math homework. He’s in Grade Three, and sometimes he gets stuck on simple problems. Helping him made me realize how important it is to explain things clearly and patiently. After finishing that, we played board games together. It was so much fun laughing and competing against each other!
Before dinner, my dad took us to the supermarket. We bought some fruits and snacks for tomorrow’s picnic. I chose a big bag of strawberries because they’re my favorite. On the way back, we stopped by a small ice cream shop and treated ourselves to some delicious cones. The chocolate flavor was heavenly!
I ended the day by writing this diary entry. Keeping a journal in English is one of my goals for this summer. I hope it will help me improve my writing skills while also remembering all the wonderful moments I have. Tomorrow, we’re planning to visit a museum, so I’m looking forward to sharing more stories next time.
Goodnight! Sleep tight, and dream sweet dreams!
I hope you found this diary entry enjoyable and relatable! Let me know if you'd like me to create more content like this. 😊
